Welcome to the official website for the Midsummer's Night Ball, 2008! Your hosts, Oberon and Titania, cordially invite you to enter our magic hall with your best finery and indulge in mischief, glamour, and magic in historic Salisbury, a few miles from sacred Stonehenge.

Ladies and Gentlmen, Faeries and Otherkin, the ball has come and gone, and we believe it was a success! The costumes were stunning and making a choice proved nearly impossible before we even started, but we did manage to crown a new King and Queen of the ball. We wish to give a thank you again to the wonderful Oreo String Quartet , the beautiful horse and carriages supplied by Ben Ford Carriages, a thank you also for the great service by Shipseys, and amazing music DJ duo Sexbat and The Ingenue, and DJ Andy Ravensable (people were actually squealing in delight as their favourite tracks were played). Photographer Dylan and his assistant were hardpressed to capture the amazing costumes and people last evening, and the staff of the Guild Hall were also quite impressed and did a wonderful job making sure things went without a hitch.

Will there be another event? We can say, thanks to the enthusiasm for the ball this year, it is a strong possibility but it won't be hosted till January/February as we look for a new venue, new surprises, and will keep to our adage of "never do the same thing twice". But we have another adage as well - "next time, be even better!" so we can assure you our next event will be just as grand, and just as much fun for us to put on. In the end, we love it when people have a good time, and is the whole reason we do these events.
